Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and maintain equipment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with computers; property management systems preferred.
• Good mathematical skills for maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and routine maintenance tasks.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, inspect and coordinate vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Periodically inspect work to ensure quality and safety, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inventory and assist with budgeting and cost-control efforts.
• Conduct safety meetings and stay compliant with OSHA and related laws.
