Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) is seeking a Project Safety Manager - Energy to drive safety programs on site and on projects in Montpelier, Indiana. You will develop a Project Safety Roadmap, oversee Site Safety Plans, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) preferred or related field such as Construction Management, Business, or Engineering.
OSHA 30 Construction required; CPR/FA Certified; BCSP CHST within 12 months preferred.
3–5 years of construction safety experience; electrical safety experience preferred.
Valid state driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Develop and sustain an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC) by creating and maintaining a Project Safety Roadmap and Site Safety Plan.
Lead incident and injury investigations with support from Production leadership; assist weekly toolbox safety meetings.
Monitor and audit CEI/Subcontractor compliance with applicable safety standards and project requirements.
