Job summary

Lemartec Corporation in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Project Manager for Building Systems to safely complete planning, management direction, and client satisfaction on assigned projects. The role requires proven pre-engineered metal building PM experience and the ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate across teams.

Qualifications

• Pre-engineered Metal Building Project Management Experience.
• Degree in construction management or related field with a minimum of 3 years work experience within the construction industry (a minimum of 5 years working experience is required if no degree is available).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast pace environment.
• Must have project scheduling and document control experience.
• Superior communication and organization development skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience with the following software: Microsoft Office, Scheduling Programs(Microsoft Projects preferred), Document Control Programs.

Responsibilities

• Develops solutions to ensure that issues never become problems. Studies bid specs carefully, looking for potential issues before the commencement of the project.
• Develops contingency plans proactively to mitigate potential risks - in the event an item of the critical path is delayed.
• Understands the subcontractor scope and contracts, and identifies opportunities and risks.
• Lead a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to deliver exceptional results.
• Recruit high-caliber personnel from outside sources, college campuses, etc.
• Manage multiple project teams successfully while maximizing both profit and client satisfaction.
