Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Project Manager - Design to lead end-to-end BAS and EPMS design projects for mission-critical facilities. This role manages scope, schedule, budget, risk, and client communications, coordinating with control systems engineers, AE firms, and other MEP professionals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PM/design management within MEP or data centers, strong leadership, and proficiency with Smartsheet, Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of PM/design-management experience in MEP or data-center settings.
• Experience owning projects through multiple design phases.
• Strong client-facing communication and relationship-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BAS/EPMS design project delivery from kickoff to construction admin.
• Coordinate with AE firms, owners, and consultants to align design.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and scope changes throughout projects.
• Oversee QA/QC, RFIs, submittals, and design reviews.
• Support use of AI/tools to improve project workflows.
