Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer - Design to lead BAS/EPMS design efforts for hyperscale data centers. You will manage design teams, coordinate with BIM/Revit resources, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions in a remote, US-wide setup.

The ideal candidate has extensive BAS/EPMS experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work with internal/external trade engineers and product vendors to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Minimum eight years of additional experience with BAS and EPMS design.
• At least half of this experience with hyperscale or colocation data centers.
• Experience leading design teams and coordinating with EPC partners.
• Strong knowledge of BAS/EPMS controls, IT/OT integration and security.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client program lead for BAS and EPMS scope.
• Develop client standards, basis of design, feasibility studies.
• Lead designs for DDC and PLC BAS/EPMS.
• Coordinate with IT/OT, vendors and BIM resources.
• Create system diagrams, sequences of operations.
• Lead design reviews, QA and project meetings.
• Mentor engineers and manage remote teams.
