Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting is seeking a Systems Engineer III – Design to plan, schedule and execute design deliverables for BAS, EPMS, and software integration in hyperscale data centers. You will collaborate with MEP/FP engineers, ICT teams, vendors, BIM/AutoCAD staff, and client staff to ensure proper design and acceptance of Building Automation Systems.

The role emphasizes knowledge of building automation, IoT, and open protocols, with remote work from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
• Two years of hands-on engineering, programming, testing and troubleshooting of controls infrastructure.
• Minimum of three years additional BAS / EPMS engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce BAS/EPMS engineering documents and project books.
• Review sequences of operations and system diagrams.
• Review shop drawings, submittals and RFIs; participate in quality reviews.
• Prepare project progress reports and maintain scheduling discipline.
