Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer III - Design to provide design support for BAS and EPMS projects in hyperscale data centers. You will work with MEP/ICT teams, BIM/RevIt, and client staff to ensure correct design and acceptance of systems, while maintaining high quality in a remote US environment.

The role requires knowledge of building automation, IoT, and networking, with 3+ years BAS/EPMS experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related discipline.
Two years of hands-on BAS/EPMS engineering experience.
Minimum of three years BAS/EPMS engineering experience.
10% travel and remote work capability in the US.

Responsibilities

Support designs for DDC and PLC based building automation and EPMS systems.
Develop system diagrams, sequences of operations, and project specs.
Coordinate with client IT and external engineers; review RFIs and shop drawings.
Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and maintain quality.
