Job summary

Smart Tech Contracting seeks a Lead EPMS Field Technician to oversee EPMS and BAS system installation, testing and commissioning for data center, industrial and commercial projects. You will lead technicians, coordinate subcontractors and ensure on-time project startup and closeout.

The role requires hands-on EPMS experience, strong problem solving, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and design teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction or related discipline is required or five years hands-on EPMS/controls experience.
• Minimum two years hands-on installation, testing and troubleshooting of EPMS or controls infrastructure.
• Five+ years total experience in EPMS/controls installation with two+ years in EPMS or power monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead EPMS/BAS installation coordination, supervise subcontractors and schedule start-up services.
• Configure EPMS devices, meters and gateways; troubleshoot Modbus and network faults.
• Perform commissioning, testing, QA/QC and client acceptance activities.
• Provide project updates, safety reporting and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Support estimating takeoffs for proposals and assist in audits and reports.
