Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, in East Hartford, CT, is seeking a proactive Principal Project Engineer to lead a large Integrated Product Team in Compression Systems Engineering. You will direct production and sustainment tasks for the GTF Fan/LPC Module and coordinate with across-discipline teams and external partners.

The role requires 8+ years in STEM (or 5+ with an advanced degree) with strong PM leadership, aerospace experience, and proficiency with SAP, Teamcenter, Jira/Confluence.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science in STEM with 8+ years or advanced STEM degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in aerospace/jet engine industry highly desirable.
• Team leader or task leadership experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills for all mgmt levels.
• Proficiency with PM tools: SAP, Teamcenter, MS Project, Jira/Confluence, Smartsheet.

• Own IPT execution; coordinate team to meet tasks/technical requirements.
• Identify problems, analyze data, develop solutions and recommendations.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with partners to resolve issues.
• Lead IPT and program reviews; represent IPT in various leadership interactions.
• Perform budget ownership duties and track risks to protect schedule and cost.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in travel up to 10% within the US and Japan supply chain.
