Job summary
Pratt & Whitney, a RTX business, seeks a Project Engineer II to support development and execution of aerospace gas turbine engine hardware. You will coordinate across engineering and functional teams to manage plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while identifying risks and developing solutions to keep programs on track.
Work on Fan, LPC, and HPC hardware while developing project management, technical problem solving, and cross-functional leadership skills, with a 10% travel requirement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2 years of experience in Project Engineering or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with project management, planning, scheduling, or execution.
- Experience in aerospace or defense preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and integrated master schedules to meet milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering and other functions to stay aligned with objectives.
- Identify risks, analyze data, and develop recommendations to improve performance and execution.
- Monitor costs, forecast revenue, and support program objectives.
- Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
