Job summary

Responsibilities include scheduling staff, controlling labor costs, training employees, maintaining quality, coordinating with maintenance, and producing daily production reports to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• The ability to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without an accommodation.
• At least 3 years Production experience in a related production environment, preferably in a lead position
• Solid leadership acumen
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaboration skills
• Familiarity with production safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead Soil room and Washroom staff to meet daily/weekly production goals through efficient production processes.
• Lead ironing and tumble fold areas to meet daily/weekly production goals through efficient production processes.
• Foster Crown Laundry culture: listen to employees and show respect for policies and procedures.
• Fill in and assist with any position as needed to ensure production goals are met.
• Work with maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Ensure safety by holding monthly safety committee meetings on relevant topics.
• Communicate production targets and achievements via a Production Board and department meetings.
• Ensure production reports are completed correctly daily.
• Ensure formulas and processes are documented, taught and followed.
• Handle administrative duties: generate reports and coordinate new hire paperwork.
