Job summary

Siemens AG in Wendell, NC is seeking a Production Team Supervisor to lead a shop-floor team and drive safety, quality, and productivity on the protection and automation panels line.

You will report to the Production Manager, manage daily operations, coach technicians, and partner with engineering, materials, and quality teams to maintain efficient production flow. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology, engineering, or manufacturing
• 3+ years leading direct or indirect teams
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• Knowledge of production operations, material flow, labor tracking, attendance, and shop floor systems such as SAP or similar tools
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned team of technicians to meet daily production, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Oversee daily floor operations, delegate tasks, monitor progress, and report production, staffing, material, and scheduling issues to the Production Manager.
• Report assembly status, operational risks, and team performance issues that may affect execution or customer commitments.
• Support onboarding, cross-training, and technician development, including growth talks and one-on-one coaching.
• Monitor labor charges, attendance, and shift work hours to support accurate reporting and scheduling.
