Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Quality Test Supervisor in Wendell, NC. The role leads the SIPANEL Final Test & Inspection team to ensure protection, automation, and control panels meet safety, quality, and customer requirements before shipment.

You will drive daily testing operations, develop technicians, resolve issues, and partner with Production, Engineering, Operations, and Quality to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in manufacturing, electrical equipment, testing, inspection, quality, or a related technical environment.
• 2+ years of leadership overseeing technicians or production employees.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documents.
• Experience using quality metrics and test data to drive performance.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electro-mechanical test technicians.
• Manage daily testing priorities, staffing, and schedule execution.
• Ensure testing aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with EHS and quality requirements.
• Drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Monitor KPIs, documentation accuracy, and first-pass quality.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.
• Maintain training and cross-training programs.
• Drive continuous improvement across testing and operational processes.
