Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Quality Test Supervisor in Wendell, NC to lead the SIPANEL Final Test & Inspection team. You will ensure protection, automation, and control panels meet safety and quality standards before shipment, while driving daily testing operations and technician development.

This role partners with Production, Engineering, Operations and Quality to resolve issues, implement improvements, and monitor KPIs for first-pass quality. A strong safety culture is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, electrical equipment, testing, inspection, quality, or a related technical environment.
• 2+ years of leadership experience overseeing technicians or production employees.
• Experience using quality metrics, test data, or defect data to drive performance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Experience enforcing safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electro-mechanical test technicians.
• Manage daily testing priorities, staffing, and schedule execution.
• Ensure products are tested and documented in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Promote safe work practices and compliance with EHS and quality requirements.
• Drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for quality issues.
• Monitor KPIs, documentation accuracy, and first-pass quality performance.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities.
• Maintain training, qualification, and cross-training programs.
• Drive continuous improvement across testing, quality, and operational processes.
