Job summary

Niagara Bottling Albuquerque is seeking a Production Operator Lead to support the Production Supervisor in daily floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput goals are met. You will communicate shift challenges, verify compliance, and prepare lines for changeovers.

This role requires 4 years in manufacturing and handling people/projects, plus the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. Benefits are included per company policy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• 4 years of experience in position and managing people/projects.

Responsibilities

• Assists Production Supervisor with daily activities of assigned shift, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput.
• Communicates with previous shift regarding challenges and opportunities on the production lines.
• Conducts walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Assists with batching minerals (if applicable) and preparing lines for changeovers.
• Orders and inspects raw materials prior to changeovers; performs first pass quality checks.
• Verifies jobs in Oracle/WMS/Line Management System.
• Supports hourly and end-of-shift production reports.
• Uses Efficiency Improvement Tools to analyze downtime and escalate as needed.
• Abides by GMP and Food Safety Standards; maintains regular attendance.
