Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Operator Lead to support daily production, safety, and quality goals on the production floor. You will partner with the Production Supervisor to ensure smooth shift operations and adherence to GMP and food-safety standards.

Key tasks include coordinating with previous shifts, preparing lines for changeovers, verifying materials, and contributing to hourly and end-of-shift reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years experience in field/manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing people/projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily shift activities to meet safety, quality and throughput targets.
• Communicate with the previous shift to relay challenges and opportunities.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping and quality compliance.
• Assist with batching minerals (if applicable) and preparing lines for changeovers.
• Order and inspect raw materials before changeovers to ensure correct inventories.
• Perform first pass quality checks after changeovers to prevent non-conforming product.
• Verify jobs in Oracle, WMS and Line Management System.
