Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Lead Operator for night shifts to collaborate with the Production Supervisor on daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and throughput. This role requires overseeing changeovers, material checks, and line readiness in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

With 4+ years in manufacturing and leadership, you will guide a team, uphold GMP and food-safety standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• Experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily shift activities to meet safety, quality and throughput goals.
• Communicate shift challenges and opportunities to prepare for the next shift.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs for safety, housekeeping and quality.
• Prepare lines for changeovers and batch minerals as needed.
• Order and inspect raw materials to ensure correct inventories for production runs.
• Perform first pass quality checks after changeovers to prevent defects.
• Verify jobs in Oracle, WMS and Line Management System.
• Support hourly and end-of-shift production reporting.
• Use Efficiency Improvement Tools to analyze downtime and escalate as needed.
• Adhere to GMP, food safety standards and Niagara safety programs.
