Job summary

Niagara Bottling, LLC is seeking a Production Operator Lead to collaborate with the Production Supervisor and drive daily production floor operations. The role focuses on safety, quality, and meeting throughput goals while adhering to all food safety requirements.

The position requires coordinating with prior shifts, conducting shift walkthroughs, and ensuring materials and line readiness for changeovers. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing leadership or supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to manage safety, quality, and throughput on a production floor.
• Ability to communicate across shifts and teams to optimize operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily shift activities to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals.
• Communicate with the preceding shift about challenges and opportunities for the next shift.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Prepare lines for scheduled changeovers and manage raw material inventories.
• Verify discrete jobs in Oracle and WMS/Line Management System.
• Support hourly and end-of-shift production reporting.
• Utilize Efficiency Improvement Tools to analyze downtime and escalate as needed.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety standards at all times.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or as production demand requires.
