Job summary

Niagara Bottling is seeking a Production Operator Lead to partner with the Production Supervisor and drive daily production on the floor. The role ensures safety, quality, and throughput targets are met while maintaining compliance with food safety standards.

The position requires 4+ years in manufacturing, experience leading teams, and proficiency with changeovers and materials management. A strong emphasis on safety and process improvement is expected throughout shifts, day or night.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree.
• 4+ years in manufacturing or similar environment.
• 4+ years in the position and 4+ years managing people/projects.
• Experience with changeovers and material batching.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with daily shift activities to meet safety, quality, and throughput goals.
• Communicate shift-to-shift challenges and opportunities for planning.
• Conduct shift walkthroughs for safety, housekeeping, and quality compliance.
• Prepare production lines for scheduled changeovers and verify inventories.
• Perform first-pass quality checks and manage materials after production runs.
• Verify job data in Oracle and related systems.
• Support hourly or end-of-shift production reports.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety standards.
