Job summary

DocuSign, Inc. is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own a unified engineering metrics platform that links data from source control, CI/CD, code review, and incident management into a single source of truth. You will partner with engineering leaders to define productivity and measure it with evidence.

Reporting to the GVP, Cloud & Production Engineering, you will design dashboards, run stakeholder interviews, and drive ROI-focused decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 8 years of related experience with a Master's degree in product management, analytics, or technical program management.
• Experience building measurement, analytics, or data-driven platforms.
• Experience with software engineering practices (CI/CD, code review, incident management).
• Experience with cross-functional leadership and success working with engineering, data, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience presenting complex analysis to both engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Design and own a system that integrates data from multiple sources (source control, CI/CD, code review platforms, incident management, AI tools) into a single, queryable destination.
• Ensure the platform is flexible enough to support metric exploration and iteration—not locked into a specific metric definition upfront.
• Define what productivity means for your organization with engineering leaders.
• Conduct interviews and surveys to understand how developers and leaders think about productivity.
• Establish baseline measurements before AI adoption.
• Identify leading and lagging indicators, test hypotheses, and iterate on metric definitions based on feedback.
• Build visibility into the total cost of AI adoption (direct and indirect).
• Create mechanisms to compare productivity changes against cost.
• Identify cohorts, tools, and use cases with highest ROI and surface early warning signals.
• Develop decision frameworks for go/no-go tool adoption and resource allocation.
• Design dashboards for leaders, teams, individuals, and executives.
• Build feedback loops to refine metrics and surface actionable insights for tooling, process, and budgets.
• Develop and share best practices for AI tool usage, prompt engineering, and code review of AI-generated code.
