Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in Atlanta is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to lead one of our busiest teams, ensure fresh, quality produce, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will assist the Produce Manager with merchandising, inventory control, and staff supervision in a fast-paced store.

The role requires reliability, basic math, and strong communication. You’ll hire, train, and develop team members, maintain safety standards, and help create a welcoming, healthy shopping experience

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older and have basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
Be dependable with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, holidays.
Demonstrate outgoing, friendly behavior and a customer-focused mindset.
Strong communication and ability to work in a team.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in the department.

Responsibilities

Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
Maintain freshness standards and proper receiving, processing, pricing, and rotation of items.
Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Produce team.
