Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to help customers make healthy choices while leading one of the busiest store teams. You will assist in managing and merchandising the Produce department and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include inventory control, staff training, ensuring freshness, safety compliance, and coordinating with the Produce Manager to drive quality and guest experience daily.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with basic math and measurement knowledge.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to follow directions in a team.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Adhere to safety, health, and weights & measures regulations including a Food Handlers permit.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
• Able to operate a pallet jack for moving pallets up to 20 feet.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards through receiving, processing, packaging, pricing, signage, display, and rotation.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality product and customer experience.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload and sort deliveries, operate and maintain produce equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
