Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Produce Manager to help customers make healthy choices while guiding one of the busiest store teams. You will support the Produce Manager in staffing, merchandising, and inventory control in a fast-paced market.

The role emphasizes teamwork, supervising a productive team, maintaining freshness, and upholding safety standards in a lively retail environment across Florida stores.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department; follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Order and control inventory; supervise the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness standards; receive, process, package, price, and rotate items.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, and developing the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries and operate produce equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
