Job summary

Town & Country Markets is looking for an Assistant Produce Manager to lead our Produce and Fresh Prep teams in a fast-paced, fresh-focused setting. You will guide operations, train staff, and ensure top quality fruits and vegetables for our guests.

You will uphold food safety standards, drive product excellence, and foster a helpful, diverse team that delivers outstanding service every day. Must lift 50 lbs and have MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Produce/Foodservice experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have knife/cutting equipment skills and cooking/food knowledge.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in daily Produce and Fresh Prep operations.
• Ensures food safety/HACCP/sanitation compliance.
• Maintains product quality, trimming, cutting, and packaging standards.
• Delivers excellent customer service.
• Manages department sales, labor, and budgets.
• Trains new staff and writes department schedules.
• Writes orders, plans promotions, and maintains signage.
• Maintains inventory procedures and price changes.
