Job summary
Micross is seeking a senior Automation and Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop, maintain and improve manufacturing processes for Lead Attach, Trim & Form and RHSD. You will lead projects, specify fixtures, tools and equipment, and drive lean improvements with robotics and automation to increase capacity and quality.
Responsibilities include risk assessment using FMEA, creating SOPs and process flows, integrating automation into production, training Sustaining Team, and ensuring compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- 7–10 years of experience in Lead Attach and Trim & Form manufacturing.
- Design for reliability and manufacturability (DRM) experience.
- Strong manufacturing automation experience and cross-disciplinary knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, maintains and improves manufacturing processes for Lead Attach, Trim & Form and RHSD.
- Drives automation equipment and tooling requirements to support production.
- Lead projects and ensure successful integration of automation into production.
- Use FMEA to assess risk and mitigate failure modes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process flowcharts and documentation.
