Job summary
MiTek Tolleson is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, safety, and quality across production. You will partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, and Supply Chain to implement new technologies, support automation and robotics, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Responsibilities include leading capital projects, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline as listed.
- Six Sigma Certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Lead continuous improvement using Lean, root cause analysis, and data-driven decisions.
- Support automation, controls, and robotics to improve reliability and throughput.
- Provide hands-on technical support for equipment and processes.
- Lead equipment installations and validation activities.
- Develop process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve performance.
- Manage capital improvement projects including budgeting and vendor coordination.
- Monitor metrics and implement corrective actions to sustain improvements.
