Reuters in Eagan, Minnesota is seeking a mid-level #2 Operator in Prepress for our Core Print Solutions team. You will provide leadership, oversee setup tasks, and train crew members to consistently optimize performance on the 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement.
• Good communication, including sharing information across shifts and departments.
• Proven success as a trainer.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and set-up requirements.
• Perform or delegate set-up tasks and monitor equipment during runs.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues related to product or equipment.
• Provide leadership, direction, and training to crew members.
• Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files.
• Represent shift hand-off with clear communication.
