Job summary

Thomson Reuters Foundation in Eagan, MN is seeking an Operations Supervisor for 2nd and 3rd shifts to lead a pressing operations team, ensure daily production targets, quality, and safety, and champion lean improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will develop staff, implement new technologies and processes, collaborate across departments, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while aligning with company values and Total Rewards program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and 3–5 years of related manufacturing experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven supervisory skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities to achieve departmental production targets.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Identify process waste and implement lean principles to minimize or eliminate it.
• Execute leader standard work, including daily gemba walks, tier-board facilitation, and continuous improvement meetings.
• Collaborate across departments to introduce new technology, equipment, and operational processes.
