Job summary

Thomson Reuters is seeking a #2 Operator in Prepress for the 3rd shift in Eagan, MN. You will lead, train, and direct a crew while ensuring high-quality prepress output and efficient setup and operation of equipment.

You must have a high school diploma or higher; Lean/CI experience and strong communication across shifts are highly valued. This role includes a 3rd shift differential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or higher required; vocational degree preferred.
• Ability to read and explain safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production orders.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong communication across shifts and departments; proven trainer capability.
• Able to read measurements with rulers and perform basic metrology.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, walking, crouching, bending tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review job specs and setup requirements for materials.
• Perform or delegate setup tasks and monitor production run quality.
• Troubleshoot product or equipment issues at a moderately complex level.
• Communicate during shift hand-offs and with maintenance as needed.
• Evaluate equipment condition and participate in preventive maintenance.
• Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files.
• Ensure work results meet quality standards without close review by others.
