Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in meat processing, production, or Leader capacity.
• Satisfactory completion of Operations Leadership Training Program.
• Computer literacy preferred with experience in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel Database, and Outlook beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform set-up and verify department is prepared for the day’s production; inclusive of staffing.
• Lead stretching at the beginning of the day.
• Communicate with other Leaders and Managers during lot changes and throughout the day to maintain quality and line flow.
• Complete departmental audits on equipment, product and work performance throughout the day; record data.
• Monitor all areas within the department that affect efficiency.
• Understand operation of all equipment and how adjustments affect quality.
• Communicate downtime and causes to Production Manager and Maintenance.
