Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking an FSQA Supervisor to uphold food safety and quality standards on a designated shift. You will lead FSQA technicians, verify records, and prepare the facility for GFSI audits.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a food manufacturing environment, strong communication skills, HACCP knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. You may interact with regulators (USDA) and ensure compliance with GMP, SSOPs, and HACCP procedures while

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year in a food manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred.
• HACCP/HARPC knowledge preferred; familiarity with USDA, GMP, and SSOPs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels, including regulators.
• Basic computer skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA technicians on the assigned shift.
• Verify records and conduct on-shift audits.
• Prepare facility for GFSI and customer audits.
• Investigate customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues.
• Oversee HACCP reassessment and GMP/SSOP compliance.
• Coordinate with onsite regulators (USDA).
• Train Team Members in food safety practices.
• Maintain production paperwork and perform floor checks.
• Support flexible scheduling including weekends.
• Complete tasks with sound judgment and cross-functional collaboration.
