Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an The Food Safety & FSQA Supervisor to uphold quality standards for our food products on a designated shift. You will lead FSQA technicians, verify records, and prepare for audits, while collaborating with the FSQA manager to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and USDA requirements.

The role requires flexibility in work hours, occasional weekend work, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and high school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• HACCP/HARPC certifications are preferred, with broad HACCP/USDA/GMP/SSOP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead FSQA technicians on the assigned shift.
• Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks.
• Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer-specific audits.
• Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues.
• Ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.
