Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Line Leader to supervise daily production in Tecumseh, NE. You will report to the Production Manager, oversee staffing, lead start-of-day setup, and ensure SOPs, safety, and quality standards are met throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in meat processing, production, or Leader capacity.
• Computer literacy; MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead set-up and ensure department is prepared for the day’s production, including staffing.
• Conduct daily inspections and audits to maintain SOPs, safety, quality and efficiency.
• Communicate with Leaders and Managers during lot changes to maintain line flow and quality.
• Perform department audits and record data on equipment, product, and performance.
• Provide coaching and training to associates; support employee reviews and disciplinary actions.
