Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Lead Power Systems Services Specialist to design and deliver advanced power system software for electric utilities and ISOs. You will join the Software Center of Excellence, driving high‑quality applications that enhance grid reliability and efficiency.

You will collaborate across teams, implement new functionalities, and provide ongoing maintenance while interfacing with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 5+ years of development or project delivery experience
• Strong programming skills in C++, Java or related language
• Knowledge of Perl, PowerShell and SQL scripting languages

Responsibilities

• Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, representing high-quality design and development practices
• Implement new functionalities in power system application software (DMS, DTS, EMS/DTX)
• Provide maintenance of power systems application functionality including code fixes and UI
• Collaborate with system/project engineers and developers to align with product direction
• Write DMS Functional Software Designs and contribute to schedules and cost estimates
• Interface with customers on issues within area of expertise
