Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a software professional to help evolve power system applications, including DMS, DTS, EMS, and distribution tools. You will work in a Software Center of Excellence, delivering high-quality designs and maintaining functionality across complex systems.

The role requires strong C++/Java skills, scripting in Perl/PowerShell, and solid SQL knowledge. Travel to customer sites may be required; relocation assistance is provided for US-based applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's with relevant experience in power systems development.
• Strong programming skills in C++, Java; scripting with Perl/PowerShell.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a member in Software Center of Excellence, promoting high-quality design and development practices.
• Implement new functionalities in power system applications (DMS, DTS, EMS/DTS/Oil and Gas/Distribution).
• Maintain application functionality including code fixes and UI.
• Collaborate with engineers and developers to implement aligned solutions.
• Provide input to technical lead on schedules and cost estimates.
• Interface with customers on issues and provide marketing support for proposals.
