Job summary

GE Vernova Consulting Services Grid Integration and Stability (GIS) is seeking an engineer to contribute to power systems analyses and inverter-based resource modeling across energy projects in the United States.

The role involves transient analyses, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and presenting results to customers. Remote work within the United States is supported, with opportunities to engage in standards groups and technical conferences.

Qualifications

• , Master’s degree in electrical engineering with 3+ years of transient and dynamic analysis experience.
• Experience with PSCAD/EMTDC, EMTP, and PSLF/DSATools.
• Strong background in inverter-based resources and power system stability.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis of power electronics and power systems control for renewables.
• Model, analyze, design, and fault analyze systems.
• Create and parametrize simulation models for GE Vernova inverter-based resources (IBR) products.
• Evaluate grid code compliance for renewable projects.
• Support development of DER/IBR products per evolving standards.
• Conduct power system transient studies and detailed equipment modeling.
• Communicate results via reports and presentations.
• Participate in industry standards groups and regional conferences.
