Eaton Corporation's Critical Power Solutions division is hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer for the Datacenter Systems team in Raleigh, NC. This hybrid role requires on-site presence as needed and includes relocation benefits within the U.S.

The engineer will design, analyze, and document power quality and energy storage products, lead ETO projects, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and safety agencies to meet performance and regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience with three-phase power systems or power electronics or power conversion topologies.
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future. Eaton will not sponsor.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Engineer‑to‑Order projects from pre‑sales through engineering, release, manufacturing and on‑site commissioning.
• Review ETO tasks and determine final design based on budget, performance and timeline.
• Develop engineering documentation (drawings, schematics, BOMs, specs) for manufacturing and submittals.
• Collaborate with mechanical/firmware teams and cross‑functional groups to finalize robust designs.
• Provide engineering designs for power quality products (UPS, storage, distribution) to engineers and customers.
• Participate in pre‑sale and post‑sale technical issue resolution.
• Ensure designs meet safety/regulatory requirements with safety agencies.
• Travel up to 25% for on-site commissioning and reviews.
