Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years in mechanical design.
• Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years in mechanical design.
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years in mechanical design.
• 5 years of mechanical design experience with electrical power equipment such as power inverters, transformers, switchgear, fuses, breakers, or related components.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and launch of critical power infrastructure products meeting safety, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop next-generation UPS and energy storage solutions for data centers and healthcare facilities.
• Develop mechanical systems and components (frames, enclosures, bus bars, wiring harnesses) using 3D CAD, testing, and prototyping.
• Own mechanical design of assigned products; base decisions on analysis, testing, DFx, cost targets, and inputs.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews across structural, thermal, and electrical domains.
• Support prototype builds, verification/validation, customer deployments, and UL/CSA certification activities.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Identify improvements to processes, tools, and test methodologies to improve quality and speed to market.
