Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in mechanical design of electrical power equipment such as power inverters, transformers, electrical switchgear, fuses, breakers, or other power system devices/components.
• Eaton will not consider immigration sponsorship or support for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and launch of critical power infrastructure products meeting safety, quality, reliability, cost, and schedule requirements.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to develop next-generation UPS and energy storage solutions for data centers and healthcare facilities.
• Own the mechanical design decisions using analysis, testing, DFx, and cross-functional input.
• Develop mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD, prototype validation, and product testing.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews across structural, thermal, and electrical domains.
