Job summary

Entegee is seeking a Lead Power System Engineer to provide technical leadership on electrification projects, including HV substations, power plants, renewables, BESS, and grid interconnections. You will conduct complex studies, develop engineering recommendations, and support proposals and client discussions.

You will perform or oversee load flow, short-circuit, CSCR, transient, and LVRT/HVRT analyses using PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, and DIgSILENT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with power systems coursework or experience.
• 6+ years performing network, transient, dynamic, or grid studies.
• Experience with utility-scale AC systems, HV substations, and grid interconnection.
• Proficiency with PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP or DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead or oversee high-voltage power system studies and design calculations.
• Complete load flow, short-circuit, transient, and CSCR analyses.
• Perform LVRT/HVRT, insulation coordination, and ride-through studies.
• Coordinate analyses and deliver clear technical reports for customers.
• Guide engineering activities to meet project and proposal needs.
• Use PSCAD, PSS/E, ETAP, and DIgSILENT for simulations.
• Support integration studies for mixed AC power sources.
• Prepare technical recommendations and customer-facing deliverables.
