Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a power systems engineer to perform, lead, train, and trouble-shoot studies in electromagnetic transients, load flow, short-circuit, and stability across T&D engineering.

You will use ATP, PSCAD, PSLF, PSS/E, DigSILENT, MATLAB and other tools to analyze data, lead projects, prepare reports, and communicate results to stakeholders while ensuring schedules and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of electric power engineering experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of electric power systems and equipment operation and control.
• Proficiency with the listed power-system analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform power systems studies including electromagnetic transients, load flow, short-circuit, transient stability and related analyses.
• Lead and support projects to ensure completion within schedules and budgets.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for internal and external customers.
• Train and mentor others; develop data-driven analyses and deliverables.
