Baxter and Woodman Inc. seeks a Potable Water Design Project Manager to lead design projects and studies for water treatment, storage and supply, with emphasis on Illinois clients.

The role requires strong leadership, client development, and collaboration across teams. You will manage proposals, schedules, budgets, and QA/QC, mentor staff, build client relationships, and represent the firm in meetings with agencies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of potable water design experience across water treatment, storage, and supply.
• 2+ years managing multidisciplinary potable water design projects.
• Member of professional and technical societies.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret regulations and write reports.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage potable water treatment plant design projects and studies.
• Develop business and serve clients in Illinois.
• Assist with proposals, scope and fee input.
• Lead project teams and assign staff.
• Monitor performance: client satisfaction, schedule, budget, QA/QC.
• Mentor project team and develop client relationships.
• Represent the company in client meetings.
