Job summary

SE&M is seeking a Plumbing Project Manager to oversee assigned plumbing projects, assist the project manager with safety, quality, and efficiency requirements, and ensure successful project execution on industrial and heavy commercial sites.

The role requires 3+ years of plumbing project management experience, strong blueprints knowledge, and a solid grasp of NC Plumbing Codes. Expect field leadership, coordination with teams, and active involvement in BIM/PlanGrid workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing plumbing projects in industrial, pharmaceutical, and heavy commercial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of NC Plumbing Codes and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, able to manage projects in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate assigned plumbing projects with the project manager, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Mobilize new projects and demobilize completed ones.
• Procure field materials to meet project specs and manage rental equipment needs.
• Direct plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair of piping systems and fixtures in industrial settings.
• Lead and mentor field teams; supervise plumbers, helpers, and fitters.
• Maintain project records, test documents, and conduct quality control walks and safety audits.
