Job summary

SE&M Constructors, Inc. seeks a Plumbing Construction Project Manager to oversee safety, quality, and efficiency across assigned divisions. You will coordinate with management, procurement of materials, and subcontractors to meet project specs and schedules.

You will lead bi-weekly look-ahead reporting, manage cost and manpower forecasts, and ensure timely billings and contract compliance across active projects. A strong background in MEP plumbing is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of plumbing project management experience on industrial and heavy commercial MEP projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of NC Plumbing Codes and industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight and coordination with management for safety, quality, and efficiency on Plumbing Construction Division projects.
• Procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracts to conform to project specs.
• Conduct regular quality control walkdowns and safety audits.
• Provide bi-weekly look-ahead reports with milestones and potential issues.
• Manage project financials; complete monthly financial reports.
• Generate monthly billings and coordinate with SE&M financial for customer submissions.
• Forecast project costs and manpower; coordinate with division coordinators.
• Attend weekly manpower meetings to discuss forecast and needs.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, drawings, and change orders.
• Develop and maintain project records and contracts compliance.
