Job summary

SE&M is a full-service mechanical, electrical and plumbing contractor providing partners with complex project solutions. The role oversees plumbing projects alongside the project manager to ensure safety, quality and efficiency on site.

The candidate will mobilize new projects, manage field crews, coordinate with the Plumbing Coordinator and ensure regulatory compliance and documentation. Strong leadership and piping system expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience managing plumbing projects in industrial/commercial sectors.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, drawings and specs and ensure code compliance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to lead field teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of plumbing projects alongside the PM, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.
• Mobilize new projects and demobilize completed ones; procure materials in-field.
• Manage rental equipment and field tools for piping projects; coordinate with crews.
• Install, assemble, maintain and repair plumbing systems including piping, valves and fixtures.
• Collaborate with BIM Manager and use BIM and PlanGrid for project documentation.
• Lead plumbing helpers and fitters; train and mentor field staff; plan manpower needs.
