Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Lead to Senior Plumbing Designer to contribute expertise across sectors from concept to completion. You will mentor designers, supervise teams, and ensure high-quality building system designs while coordinating with multi-disciplinary project teams.

Position offers exposure to diverse markets, collaboration across our sister entities, and ongoing opportunities for professional development and PE-related advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field and 9+ years of relevant experience for Lead level (PE may count toward 1 year).
• Senior level requires 12+ years of relevant experience (PE may count toward 1 year).
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design and codes across a broad range of practices.
• Proficiency with Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Mentor less experienced designers and engineers, provide oversight and guidance.
• Lead design efforts from concept through completion across multiple disciplines.
• Ensure drawings, specifications, reports meet scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Contribute to business development and risk management activities.
