Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks Lead to Senior Plumbing Designers to contribute expertise across multiple market sectors, combining engineering design with field experience via Henderson Building Solutions. You will work on mission-critical facilities in healthcare, higher education, retail, and other sectors.

Responsibilities include mentoring teams, leading projects from concept through completion, and ensuring quality, schedule, and cost adherence while supporting client experience and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering; 9–12 years of experience depending on degree, PE may count toward experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, codes, design guides and standards across practices.
• Familiarity with earned value, contracts and construction processes.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Mentor less experienced designers and engineers, providing oversight and technical guidance.
• Lead project and design efforts from concept to completion.
• Ensure drawings, specs, reports meet scope, schedule, and budget; support business development and risk management.
