Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is hiring for a Maintenance/Engineering Supervisor role in Georgia. You will plan, supervise, and improve plant facilities and electrical systems, directing a team of engineers and technicians to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of electrical wiring and PLCs, and a background in preventative maintenance. A degree in electronics/electrical tech and management training are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations
• Experience in industrial electrical wiring/motor control and PLCs
• Experience or knowledge of programmable logic controllers and networking devices is a plus
• Managing/overseeing a Preventative Maintenance Program
• SAP experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct maintenance activities for plant facilities and equipment
• Assist Maintenance Manager in performance of assigned duties
• Plan, assign and supervise engineering staff on shift
• Train new employees on procedures and plant operations
• Oversee repair and maintenance of plant machinery
• Read and implement schematics and drawings
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with company policies
• Maintain organized work areas and adherence to schedules
• Support attendance and operating rule compliance as required
• Perform other duties as needed by management
