Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in the United States is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Lead. This developmental role prepares the incumbent for a supervisory position, focusing on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to keep hourly plant operations safe and efficient.

You will oversee technicians, ensure safe work practices, and support training for supervision. Strong knowledge of electrical, welding, and mechanical systems is preferred; a high school diploma or trade certification is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technician experience with industrial electrical wiring, PLC troubleshooting, motor control, and equipment repair/installation.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/trade certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool usage and general shop practices.
• Inspect electrical, welding, piping, and mechanical components for wear or faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and rebuild mechanical drive components as needed.
• Train for supervision role by shadowing a shift, SAP usage and PM quality checks.
• Provide coverage for supervisor PTO and assist with scheduling for technicians.
