Flowers Foods, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to plan, supervise and improve plant operations, ensuring safety and quality across shifts.
The role includes training staff, maintaining equipment, and supporting capital projects in a bakery environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in industrial leadership, strong PLC/ electrical know-how, and experience with preventative maintenance.
Competenze
- 2+ years leadership or supervisory experience in industrial operations, maintenance or utilities.
- Experience with industrial electrical wiring, motor control and PLCs.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment; electrical troubleshooting desired.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers and networking devices is a plus.
- Managing/overseeing a preventative maintenance program.

- Plans, assigns and directs activities of subordinates; participates in hiring and disciplinary decisions.
- Maintains plant facility and equipment per standards; supervises engineering staff on shift.
- Trains new employees per training programs and procedures.
- Repairs and maintains plant machinery and equipment; reads schematics and drawings.
- Ensures safety programs and compliance with company policies.
- Maintains orderly work areas and adheres to attendance rules.
